Hippler Solutions was founded by myself, Alan Hippler, MBA, to provide a variety of services to people who need it. As a Software Developer, IT Professional, Business Leader, Husband, and Father, I strive to help people wherever possible.
As a Director of IT Services for several mental health clinics in Maine in my early 20s, I was able to restructure the IT Infrastructure at those clinics and significantly improve their access to and use of technology in order to provide better services to the mentally ill. While in this role, I became the President/Leader of the National Psych Consult User Group. Psych Consult was the name of the software that was used to manage patient records and billing information. As the leader of the user group, I provided assistance to users across the country in how to implement IT Systems to ultimately provide better service to their clients.
After spending several years in the role of Director of IT, I decided I could provide better service by creating software to help Community Service Programs provide better service to low-income people. As the Lead Developer, and eventually Chief Operating Officer, of JAI Software, I have lead a team of software developers and other business professionals to the creation of the ECOS Platform. This platform currently serves the DOE Weatherization program and the DHHS LIHEAP program. We are building the software as an Enterprise Software Application that can assist Community Service Programs. With this system, we help Community Service Programs improve efficiency and control costs by reducing wasted staff time with things like entering data into multiple systems.
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work on several projects including the LIHEAP and WAP projects, the Maine Carbon Quantification Project, the National Association of Community Service Programs Carbon Project, and various smaller projects for state and non-profit agencies.
